MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES:
- Regular Member:
- Must be or has been a bona fide student, and/or employee of DWU, who subscribes to the Jubilee ideals of the Foundation and wants to help in his/her own way to restore DWU to its original Mission and Vision;
- Has active and passive voting rights: may vote for and be voted upon as an officer of the Foundation or a member of the Board of Trustees;
- Has the obligation to attend in person the Annual General Meeting of the Foundation, or nominate a qualified proxy for this Meeting;
- Associate Member:
- May be any person of good will who subscribes to the Jubilee ideals of the Foundation, and wants to help in his own way to restore DWU to its original Mission and Vision;
- May be a qualified Regular Member, who opts for Associate Membership for personal or practical reasons e.g., distance, time, work, etc.;
- Has no active nor passive voting rights;
- May attend Annual General Meetings and other open meetings of the Foundation.
COMMON DUTIES/RESPONSIBITLITIES OF REGULAR/ASSOCIATE MEMBERS:
- Both are full members of the Foundation;
- Both may be called upon to participate in the same degree to Foundation activities and programs;
- Both may be members of Foundation committees, work groups, task forces, etc., which may be formed from time to time in support of the Foundation's Mission, objectives and programs;
- Both are entitled to membership cards and to share in the camaraderie of the DWU spirit in the Foundation.
